You’re gonna want to reinforce that thing some. I recommend straps of some sort.

The magnetic mount is pretty strong. The GoPro will probably come next year.

Are you a pirate?

Yeah, I was going to say that. I’d expect a bit of vertical movement, just due to the span. The end of the board with the camera will tend to act like a damper that resists movement, so while the car moves up and down the camera will seem to do the opposite, possibly with a spring-like bounce.
But mounting to the headrest stalks is a cool idea.

There was a guy from the GTO groups who made a super nice metal mount for taco runs.

How snug are those holes against the headrest stalks? Looks like there would be some vibration coming from there, which would get amplified further down the plank where the camera will be.

on board. I get it.

My theory it the springy- ness in the board help with the shakiness during curb abuse.

The largest drill but I had was a hair to small, so I had to wiggle the drill to widen the holes. It’s quite snug, but the 1st test could show different .

Weird, Kinja must be broken right now, because this post says it was made by The Crazie Kanuck, when it was clearly a Borsuq post.
